We had very a nice Thanksgiving weekend at my parent's house! We drove up Wed afternoon and stayed until Sat. Aunt Re cooked an amazing dinner with some help from Uncle Bob and cousins Becky and Frank. It was great seeing everyone. Family is just one of the many things we are thankful for!
God has blessed our family with so much this year. Stetson is finishing up his final MBA class! We are so proud of the years of hard work he has put into this degree and thankful for a job that will pay for it, too. Kealon and Haidyn have 2 wonderful teachers for PreK and 2nd grade, and they are both doing great in school. I have been able to stay at home and take care of our neighbor's baby during the week. I'm thankful that I can be home to take care of my family, while also doing something so rewarding as loving on a baby! We are also thankful that we have been able to find a new house about 20 min from where we are now that has a some more room than our current home. We will have our first garage (much needed!) and the kids will be able to have their own bedrooms. We should be moving on Christmas weekend...just waiting on the final paperwork to be processed!
Here are two pix I took of the kids on Thanksgiving in front of Aunt Re's Christmas tree. Love holiday time!

An Afternoon at Medard Park
The weather has been so nice lately! I love getting the kids outside. Today we met friends at a park that has cool walking/hiking paths with lots of huge cypress trees and exposed roots. It's hard to explain, so you'll have to check out the pix! Kealon wanted to climb the highest roots and branches, while Haidyn was happy being a pirate princess explorer. :)

Kealon's Thanksgiving Feast
Kealon had a great time today during his Thanksgiving Feast. His class brought in ingredients to make soup and it was really good! They ate together and read a thanksgiving story. I only have 2 pictures but thought I would post anyway!

Haidyn's Thanksgiving Feast
I really need to catch up with blogging pix of the kids! I just put the blogger app on my phone, so this is an experiment to see how it works...hopefully it does bc I think that will help me stay on top of posting! Here are a few pictures of Haidyn (aka Red Bird) during her preschool Thanksgiving feast. :)
Fall Soccer 2012
Both kids played soccer this season! Kealon keeps improving every season and has so much fun making new friends and being on the field playing. Haidyn had been looking forward to playing soccer like her brother...but when the time came to get on the field and play in an actual game, she got SCARED! Haidyn would bolt off of the field as soon as the whistle blew and then refuse to play. Finally, during the last few games Haidyn found her place as a defender and would power kick almost every ball that came near her goal! They both had awesome coaches and a fun season.
Haidyn's first game!!! HA HA! |

Kealon's age group took turns playing keeper! This is their first year with someone in goal. |

October 2012
The weather finally started getting cooler in the month of October here in FL. We did a lot of outdoor activities...and didn't have to sweat through them! Although the leaves don't really change much here and we think upper 70's = chilly weather, we still love to celebrate FALL!
Haidyn lost her first tooth! (Yes, she is only FOUR!) |

We also went to our community produce stand to get pumpkins and to go on a nighttime hayride. The kids had a great time!
The preschool had a Fall Festival with lots of activities and dressing up for the kids. Haidyn wanted to be Rapunzel. Enzo had fun, too!
Grandparent's Day 2012
Grandparent's Day was especially exciting this year because we had two sets of grandparents in town! Mee Mom was visiting us and went to both Kealon and Haidyn's classrooms. Pop Pop was able to get off work and drove down for Haidyn's day. Sorry, I only have pictures from Haidyn's classroom this year! We are so blessed to have grandparents who are able to share special times with the kids.
September 2012
Here is a re-cap of our month of September...since I'm playing catch up! We had a great visit with Aunt Sarah and cousins Nolan and William. They were here for a while since Uncle Tim was in Army boot camp and basic training! We went to the Glazier Children's Museum in Tampa, went to the beach and (of course) Dino World. Here are a few pictures!
